What file sharing program do u recomend?

Bittorrent FTW. There is nothing better that's free.
totally not true....the ferrari of all file sharing programs is Xdcc Bottler with the Brian Bottler upgrade. And its a VB application that was made by a couple of guys on their free time and it totally freeware.

Its about 40x more complicated than limewire, bittorrent, or anything similar so there is a learning curve....but if you config it properly you'll have a 300 gig hard drive full of games and movies in about 8 hours virus free.

IRC FTW

I'd recommend using usenet aka newsgroups. Usually, an account is provided from your ISP. This is usually very stripped down and they generally have horrible retention. But if you pay for a premium account, there is nothing that can possibly beat it.

I will admit that torrents can be good, but there can be a huge security risk using various trackers. But it can also be assanine when you are downloading huge files and you have to maintain a certain ratio. If you are downloading small files, torrents might be the way to go. But if you really want to download stuff, it's best to pay for a usenet account to get unlimited downloads with the only thing limiting you actually being your bandwidth.

I'd save yourself the "Beating" of asking everyone's opinion, and getting no real answers (with this kind of topic), and just use what you have, but use some spyware and "SCAN" your files.

Or you could just go buy the liscensed copy for $20. Problem Solved (not fullproof, but much better)

no real answers? I saw plenty of replies....plus no one with half a brain pays for software. Piracy FTW

Those are not answers, they're opinions.
Here is another opinion, your answer sucked. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

so here is one up, if the original poster is needing any software, PM me and i'll get you what you need. and I mean ANYTHING. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Seriously, I have tried a TON of p2p networks. I have even tried the ones that they want u to pay for. EX: Limewire, Bearshare. I've used registered copy ones (meaning I actually forked out my precious money for it)

I use mine mostly for music. Seems like the majority of people say bit torrent. So I tried it. It seems like every other p2p network, slow, bugs, and only parts of the files are available.

I have been using Winmx for years upon years. I always keep going back to it. I like it better then any other file sharing program. The downloads are faster. You can easily pick which bitrates you want, which files, the search even has a length category, so you can check to verify that the file is what it says it is. Since the file is downloaded from start to finish, you can listen to it while its downloading.

Of course, you can get pics, videos, and games from it too.

And its FREE ware.

You can download it from http://www.winmxgroup.com/.
