what feq to tune subs

I would like to know if anyone could help, Whats the best Hz to tune 15' subs to

for alittle sound sq but mostly spl, does it matter on what subs or no, also is there

a disaventage to having subs in the same ported box compared to them being in

there own ported box

If u have separate chambers when one blows it does not risk the other subwoofer. It depends what kind of subwoofer your are talking about but spl would be 40-45hz and sq would be 28-35 so sql would usually be around 35-40 hz......this is not always the case though

Exact tuning depends alot on the woofer itself. Tell us what woofers you have/ are looking at, and we can help you more.

Personally, I'd do 30 or higher, but no higher than 35... but that's personal preference, I like my lows.

It really depends on what woofer you are going with.

If you want mostly spl with a little sq mixed in there I would tune it between 34hz-42-hz(Depending on the woofer)
