Benn lurking for a while, so here it goes. So I am starting the task of replacing the stock speakers in my RAM 1500 non-Alpine set-up. So when I pull the dash speakers out I notice they are 8Ω, but are supposedly wired to my doors which are 4Ω in parallel (hope I got that right). So is this little piece in the attached picture to balance the Ω out? I am still searching for clarification on what my head unit puts out to get a better understanding of all this, as I would still like to put something in my dash.

*I still have to figure why my images rotate. If I upload upside down, they remain upside down. Upright is upside down as well...
