What everyone thinks about MTX?

I mean I dont dislike any of their products, I feel the D class amps are well built and very hearty in design, and the 9500 sub shows more life from the MTX camp, so I think thigs are doing well for them

i got the 2 15" 6000's and they hit pretty hard...nothing like a brahma or anything but for the price its a good deal and good sound...i just bought some PG ti 15's...waiting for them to get in...

the 6000 are good they get somewhat loud. The 8000 I have seen in alot of SPL setups. They can get pretty loud if the setup is done right. As a matter of fact i was thinkin about gettin two of those or 2 12 Memphis HPO subs.

There class D amps are very well built they are good I have seen and heard them in alot of cars.

I at one time had 2 rfl's, right now i have 1, but going back to the inverted thing, The reason they did this in my opinon is because according to mtx the sub has 4.35" of excurtion, and with that much I am asuming they thought it would stay more intact and in control with less movement if they has the excurtion not as far from the frame of the sub, what the screwed up on is the sub over heats easily.

Personally I feel MTX is like RF - they are steadily going down hill with most of the range, although their HX2's and Team Rf offerings as well as the top power series amps are not too bad, but still not as good and abuseable as they used to be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D

I really liked MTX up to 1999, especially their subs and silver thunder amps with the blue led.

Today MTX is no longer an attraction for me, although I really would like to hear a 9500 some day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and the MTX8100d's are still excellent 1700RMS D amps, so they are nice.

So basically for me MTX is only good for a) RFL's b) 8100d's
