What earbuds for ipod?

Thanks for all the help guys I really appericate all the information/opinions. Here's what I've leveled out so far.


V-moda vibes: little bit more expensive but might save up 4 em and get em. I saw mega's but was wondering how much they were don't see em on ebay like that at all?.

They just redesigned the headphones, this design was "officially" released October 1st. I had the old designed vmodas and they broke, so i shipped them back for warranty and they sent me the brand new redesigned one. (luck of the draw for doing warranty at just the right time)

Just wondering, but why dont you recommend them Mega? Since I just bought some Im curious to know.

Im not out to spend a bunch of money on some ear buds, but I figured I could use some different ones rather than the stupid i-pod ones that start hurting my ears. Just looking for something cheap and comfortable really.

they arent in ear headphones, they wont provide a good isolation, you'll find yourself turning the volume knob a lot higher than you would like to. and too unpleasant boomy sound, response curve is horrible in the upper range.

edit just an fyi, V-Moda only became popular because it was the only headphones that were iPhone (edge version) compatible, the skinny connector no adapter needed.

^ Cool thanks. Well Ill see how they compare to my stupid ipod ones, Im not too worried about the sound anywho, just really the comfort for when Im workin out and stuff.

i got these and had a question:

question is when i put the buds in my ears, without plugging them in, if i tap the cable i can hear a thump like sound coming through the headphones. only when i tap the wire, its weird, sound is awesome, but i use it when i work out and i am constantly moving.

Yeah focal I know the shure's are really nice buds. But wayyyyy over my price budget I used to have a pair while ago with my mp3 I had well someone at my college decided them wanted em more then me took em outta my backpack some how when I wasn't lookn. FCK Theives

Apple store still costs $100. If you have a Frys or Costco i know they sell it for $20 cheaper atleast

Thx ng I haven't gone to the links yet cause I stay on here ca.com cause I'm on my sidekick can't even get up right now cause my stomach is killn me feels like a knife in my stomach couldn't even work had 2 go home hurt so bad pepto&tums not doing sh*t 4 me. But when I can get up ng to check those links on my actual computer ill check em out thx. Ng could u post up pics of those $200 ones u can get for $45? Thx

hey I know its nasty but mix a tablespoon calcium carbonate(baking soda) with a glass of water. it will help, I promise.
