The box is tuned at about 34hz and peaks at 37hz. It's not the flattest response I've ever seen.

That only shows a graph of what that enclosure will do outside in the "open air" and not actually in the car.

it shows you what will happen with your box NOT inside of a car. So basically it's pointless because it will be much different in car.

pretty much, not to mention your t/s are taken at 1watt on an unbroken in subwoofer and change dramatically when more power is ran to the sub.

i see... and considering the fact that I took the ts parameters from a stock apxx 18 and my apxx has a larger vc, more bl, and 4 spiders I am pretty sure that the plot would change quite a bit...

The only thing WinISD is good for IMO is playing around with the volume and tuning to see what effects what when it comes to a design..i.e. shrink the box volume and the response will flatten out, raise it and it will become peakier, etc.

I tried WinISD last night. It told me .14cf tuned to 66.7hz for an Fi BTL N2 12.

Calculators are teh ghey.
