It is like if you do a cross reference on ford and jaguar you will notice they share some of the same parts. Like laser unit in a jensen cd player is the same one in a pioneer. Hope this helps

Yep, looking for transistors for my amp, and typed in the # on the transistors to be replacing, and it said that those are cross refrence to the # that I entered in. Thanks
