Yeah, normally, ex. 17.5 through a 3.6 step down would yield 13.9v. Understand?

if an alternator will do 12-19.5 volts how do u make it run at the voltage u want?

Voltage Modules are just plug and play...Meaning just unplug the alt wires plug this deal in

and there you go..That way you can take it off, if you want, And everything goes back to normal

how much did that alt set you back and where did you get it???

Cuz the one I was looking at was http://www.dcpowerinc.com/

for my truck and it only put out 100 amp constant at idle...Where

yours 167(or is that 107 ??) anyway...And the price for the dc was 549$$
