First off there is a guy at work that is talking trash that his system hits harder than mine... so i told him to bring it to work and we will see... he has

2-12" JLw0 in what looks to be a prefab box not sure of the tuning (doubt he even knows) and

1000watt rockford amp

my setup

2- 15" SI Mags in 7 cubes tuned to 28hz

what are your thoughts? you think he could possibly be louder ( to the ear we dont have a mic) i said he is crazy if he thinks that 2 w0's will hit harder than my Mags... unfortunatly i wont find out for 1 week cause he has to drive home 250 miles away to get his 1000 watt amp.

arent those rated at like 200 rms or something? this guy said they were 1200 i said that seems pretty high

if you are really concerned than you have issues. I would put one Mag 15 ported against two jl 12 w0's. I've had w0's and they get lout for being 125 rms each but thats it. If he had two 13 w7's running or 2000 rms than you have competition. I would ask him if he wants to put money on it. Hell, i'll even bet that my two Mag 15's sealed off 1500 rms will stomp him. Don't sweat it, tell him to bring it. Hes a liar and i'm willing to bet this competition never happens. Like i was saying w0's are 125 rms, no way hes running a true 1000 rms to them, hell the w3's can barely take 500 a piece.
