Hello, just a quick question. I was wondering if the measurements of boxes on your site include or do not include the 3/4" thickness of the MDF wood? For an example, the depth of a ported enclosure for a 12W7 subwoofer is 15.5". Is this including the 3/4" thickness of the MDF wood? Or not? Thanks.

If I remember JL shows a pic of the enclosure to scale with the measurements on the outside of the enclosure. This would mean to me that the dimensions were external measurements, Thus including the thickness of the wood.

Your email could have just asked if the dimensions were internal or external.

They do have a pic in the reccomended enclosure section, but it's not to scale, and very hard to tell if the MDF is included.

It's included. Why not just design your own? Then you would really know it was right.

it's the outside dimension... which would include the wood.

And you should just build your own.
