What do you think of this Korea thing?

They have no chance of even getting a missile close to us. We have intercept systems throughout the Pacific, UAVs parked over that area, and submarines and other ships sitting right off that coast in case he does indeed launch a missile at the US. Kim Jong-Il is just an attention ***** and taunting the Obama administration because he knows they will do nothing about it.

There would be an enormous loss of life, both civilian and military. The north have the largest artillary, and sof force in the world, but a pathetic af and navy. I would assume there best bet would to place as many sof forces as possible around every military installation prior to any invasion and to disrupt and deny operations as much as possible prior to a mass invasion similar to the last Korean war.

However any type of war on there part would be *******. Our Navy and Air Force would turn there country into ashes and they know it, so it makes no sence for them to invade at all. Even if they were to break though the lines and force a mass USFK retreat, you still have the forces stationed at Guam and Japan, just a heartbeat away. As for people who say China would step in and fight alongside N.Korea they have no vested intrest with them other than symbolic ties from the old Korean war, they are a begger on the street that China helps out by giving them the scraps they don't eat. They have already embarassed and angered China many times, and the last thing they want is an unstable government (who for the fact of the matter is not going to survive another 20 years unless they adopt capitolism and get with the program and join the WTO) flaunting around with nuclear weapons when they can't even develop there own missle technology to deliver them with! N.Korea is a backwards dieing nation on a respirator with a gun in its hand and threatening the doctors who are trying to help.

Were you born in the U.S.? You have a birth certificate and a SSN?
every male gets on in the mail. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
Wow I'm sure glad I live in Canada. We don't have anything like that here.

You dont have a birth certificate or ssn?

Of course we have birth certificates and social insurance number's. I'm talking about the government drafting you in the military when you turn 18. We have a choice in Canada if we want to be in the army or not.

coincidence?

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – The Air Force says it has successfully launched an unarmed Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missile from a California base, firing it to targets in the Pacific Ocean.
Lt. Raymond Geoffroy (JEFF-rey) said the ICBM was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base at 3:01 a.m. Monday.

He said it carried three unarmed re-entry vehicles that hit their targets near the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands, some 4,200 miles away.

On clear mornings, missile launchings from Vandenberg can be seen as far away as Los Angeles, 140 miles to the southeast, but fog along the coast made Monday's launch difficult to see even in the immediate area, Geoffroy said.

The Air Force said the launch was an operational test to check the weapon system's reliability and accuracy.

Test data will be used by United States Strategic Command planners and Department of Energy laboratories.

i think NKorea is another Iraq.........and u all know how that ended......
How? didnt end to bad from my perspective. we killed their leader, overthrew their government, and now can fight the Iran/US war from there and not our own soil. Anyone that thinks thats not why we went their is insane. WMD's were just the front, we wanted to get a presence in the Middle East and get closer to Iran. Mission accomplished. should we have done it, thats debatable to the end of days, im just saying we did what we set out to do.

and dont give me that "innocent american soldiers died" crap. other than the original soldiers sent everyone in the last 6 years that joined the military knew they were going. i appreciate them dont get me wrong, im just saying im tired of hearing the "innocent soldiers dying" stuff. it was their choice.
