what do you think of this amp?

My friend is running that same amp @ 3600wrms to 4 kicker cvr 15's ina big *** ported box and it's loud as all hell, he's got a stock alternator with an optima blue top and he still has the bastard running @ 14.0 volts god i dotn know how but he does........O ya this is in a big tahoe........... it's causeing him some alternator hiss, but HONESTLY, i would have thought his alt. woulda taken a crap butit's still working......................... all in all i think this is an alright amp for the money if you're going for SPL, definitly not sq.....but then again the subs i heard werent top of the line sq subs either

I have seen the big boy MA Audios rock some ***. The were SPL amps. Shit dude like i always say screw what everyone thinks they are all biased go to the shop stick your toungue on the speaker outputs and whichever one hurts the most you buy.

But then again peopel say PG sucks. SO what do you believe some guy hitting 72DB with some pyle 900 watt 6x9's cause they got neat-o big *** magnets or the guy smashing out 173.2DB with six 12's? i know who im gonna listen to.

If Audiobahn is so terrible why are they so big? what happened to Audiobahn that you people hate them so much? Have you not heard the good ones rock out or what? I havent heard anything bad except my cheap *** setup., but the whiole nine yards including deck & install cost me 8 hundred and something brand new. 3 12's, 3201t, wires and stuff a JVC MP3 Player, plus the install. I thought it sounded good at the time then i heard the MA audio hardkore van and Cory Nastazzios car (jumpin hindus that things ****ing insane loud dude) i had to go bigger and better cause mine really sucked compared to those.

as a dealer i can say this they arent bad..they just arent the greatest...neat lookin better than other stuff in its price range when i was most of your guy's age though...

All I know is that a very technically involved member of a highly respected company says in his amplifeir power tests - MA is consistently VERY over-rated - I believe "grossly" was the term he used.

It is not the fact that Audiobahn subs are bad that it is the fact they are very sloppy.

I am not downing them or anything.As a matter of fact I am thinking of buying a Pair.

MA audio is doing a total overhaul of there stuff. So when we say it suks we are going on previous models. But still the power that there amps claim to get I think is a little far featched. I mean if I was lookin for an amp that could do 3600 watts I would go with an u.s. amp or a crossfire, if they make on that big, that is what the Big Boys use. And I kno for a fact that the u.s. amps and crossfire amps wil not blow up, over heat, go into protection, or cause me any promblems.
