Is the brand name Dual? Or are they dual voice coil 6ohm woofers? Either way, probably a terrible choice. If the brand name is Dual though, it's definitely an awful choice.

JBL has a GTi MkII that is _d6...might be what he is talking about.

If so they are rated @ 700W RMS, and have Kevlar paper cone woofer, Nitrile-butylene surround, Differential Drive Design Motor, and 3" VC

Dunno anything about these subs, tho, to either recommend or bash

Hmmm, maybe that's it? They sound like they might be half decent. Everyone seems to be please with their amps, never hear much about their subs though. Then again, we still don't know if this is what he's referring to. :\

Yeah, they actually do sound kind of interesting...course there are others that sound good on paper and with their T/S parameters, but just never live up in the real world
