so I need a cheap subwoofer for my bed room. I already have 2 mackie powered monitors for 40hz and up duty (well they play into the 30's quite easily) but I need lows.

I am quite lazy and don't feel like building a box so I was thinking of this

You'd be suprised how loud subwoofers get in the home.

Get the 15" Dayton Audio DVC385-88, build a 7.75cuft enclosure (sonotube would be your easiest choice). Tuned to 18hz.
