I bought a kenwood ddx373bt at Bestbuy that cost 279 but I got it price matched to 229 and it was nice but then saw the the ddx573bh which is about 309$ at crutchfield and other sites but I found it on amazon for 238. It was cheaper than the ddx373bt and is a better unit but the item is sold by some shop. So today it arrives and as I open it it smells like a burnt amp. I still hooked it up since it uses the same harness so it was an easy change over and it all works well. The box and packaging was all virgin but then what caused the smell? Is this normal factory smell? The other kenwood didnt have it.... I contacted the seller and asked him if this was refurbished and what my warranty was and I am still waiting on a reply. Anyone ever get this kind of a smell from a HU?

thanks to all and yes it works , well..... well hardware works but I am having an issue with the software. The pandora app sometimes throws me off and tells me that it can not detect video and issues like this. I tried a different USB and same thing. I will try to install the latest firmware update and see how that goes.
