They will do the job, but from my experience they get hot quickly. i had my bass boost on off and my gains set appropiatly. And the amp still gets pretty hot. But it never shut off on me or went into protect. Good amp if your on a small budget. Will do the job for those l5s. I would go with a bxi2006 for the 15'' kicker L7

If you are on a budget, it will do fine. There is better that can be had for more money.
