27Owned a Dental Laboratory for +2yrs, have been a dental technician for 8yrs

Work with my hands-make from scratch custom oral appliances, based on models/impressions of peoples oral anatomy

Pay- grossed 6 figs klast two years off 5 accounts, sky's the limit as far as how much you can make- more accounts + more employees= more money along with more headaches, more bills
What kind of education did it take for you and what kind of start up costs are involved? Equipment? Also what kind of overhead to run the 5 accounts and how much production. I know six figs sounds great but people don't factor in the cost of doing business. I am very interested because I am sick and tired of working for someone else. I want my work to a testament to me not my *** kissing abilities as I have none. Not to mention I have had my fill of bosses trying to use fear as a motivator, only makes me want to shove a pistol up their //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/moon.gif.9d317aec3339ffe7fde0638df52c628a.gif

Full-time student soon to be getting my degree in Finance this Spring. I am doing my senior year internship working for the county in their Economic Development Office making $12.75. But the best part of my job is the benefit of meeting all the local business leaders and working co-op projects with them through our office. So far I have been offered to work at a local bank as a financial or risk analyst making about 45k (which is great for this area) and also have been offered a job working for the hospital system in their accounting department making about the same. My ultimate goal is to get out of school this may, work for a year and a half with either of the two options mentioned above and apply for the FBI when I turn 23. I will probably start off around 60k with the FBI depending on location!

What did u minor in? FBI is bombin hard to get into... You may want to do a couple years at your job offers, then maybe another 2-4 at your local PD then apply to the FBI.... its massive hard to get into, one reason why I am going to be double majoring with, most likely Criminal Justice and Accounting.

I'm a full time student in willmar MN, working for my pa on weekends for $7.50/hour. Next year I'll be a full time student at either ITT tech for what I'm currently doing (electronics tech.) or Brown college for game design. Both in Minneapolis

i work in a factory during the middle of the night assembling seat tracks for cars. it sucks. 8 hours a day doing nothing but putting together parts. i'm laid-off now till probably febuary. i also go to school during the day.

I'm minoring in Economics. The FBI has about a million applicants each year for about 2,000 jobs so it is very hard to get in. If you pass the accounting portion of the exam they will waive the 3 year work requirement and for white collar crime/ fraud you don't need criminal justice/ law experience. I'm being mentored by a local agent with about 20 years experience within my area of interest with the FBI. He actually will lecture this spring in my forensic accounting class and I'm hoping to use him as a reference. Having a 2 year position within a government office, solid references (from him, my internships with the county and Morgan Stanley, and other previous) and the rest of my background should give me at least a solid chance of getting in. He also has advised me on a couple other strategies for their entrance exams as well.

The FBI comes to the school I'm going to right now, and recruits the top 15 students from the wireless communications department. So if I wanted to stay at that school that I am almost gauranteed a job with them, pending the results of the lie detector test. Too bad I'm changing schools next year. Oh well.
