What do you do for a living?

I'm a Technical Engineer for a mega church in Scottsdale. My official (hehe) job title is Producer of Campus Activities. Freakin finally got a raise after 4 years. Bumped me to 17/hr plus benifets and a paid cell phone. Sweet.

Oh yeah, I also own my own Car Audio "shop". We install car audio and sell some product. Soon to be selling Soundguard.

19 going on 20, still lives at home. full time employee cleaning up cars at a local automotive dealer ship, becoming a full time student in a week. try to get a diploma/degree as an industrial maintenance technician. also good at working on computers and installing car audio. im sure i can find something that has good pay w/ those 3 things under my belt after i graduate from college.

I'm a senior in high school, so don't expect too much.

As of right now, I only have one job, which is a kitchen worker at a Jesuit priest college near where I live. Very good job considering all I do is wash plates and save food for like 40 minutes and get paid ten bucks every time I clock in. Also we don't have much of a supervisor, so we usually bring three people in with us, we're allowed to eat and drink as much as we want, we go on top of the roof and get blazed....its a great job. Only bad thing is is you only work three times a week, so its really just pocket change.

I did work at a grocery store, but I got fired b/c I hated my job. That was 5.15 an hour minimum wage. Over the summer I helped a kid pass 8th grade, usually pulled in about 200 bucks a week doing that. Tis how I bought all my car audio goodies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I really need a job now and I'm not having any luck finding one. If the oppurtunity ever arises, I'm not against selling drugs to get some dough.

i'm 33...used to be a welder/fabricator till a few months ago. averaged 30-35k a year doing that. it's a skill that's almost always in demand, but gets really old after 11 years,

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

i'm 19... and i live at home //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif asst. sales & installation manager at circuit city... it's fun... i usually just install because most customers around here are complete a-holes... $12.75 an hour... plus the chance for a monthly bonus depending on how sales & installs go... my bonus for this month will be over $2500 :-D time to buy my system!

im 24, i work at a tire shop, doing tires, brakes, suspentions, and engine work for $10/hour. i just graduated from ranken tech for industrial electronics with a 4.0 GPA, and i'm going back for HVAC, plannig to open my own heating & cooling/elec. business when it's all said and done,.

Im 18 student and no job at the moment. During summer work on farms for $10 an hour that were at get my money to do stuff save it in the summer spend it in the winter. Soon as i start a new school going to be looking for any kind of job as long as its not fast food. Ive done some caraudio jobs and electrical stuff in the past but not many and did not get paid jack crap That is if i even did get paid for it.

I am a high school guidance counselor.
so what do you do, teach kids how to properly install equipment and fiberglass?? lol

i'm 19, 2nd year of college, pursuing a bachelors in biological sciences with a couple minors (management and political science). i doubt i'm gonna apply to grad school seeing as my current gpa is under a 3.0 hahaha, but anyway, i'm really hoping to make 70k once i land a solid job after i graduate (however long after that may be). i don't wanna start out makin a bullshit 40k, i'd rather not go to school and work for 4-5 years and get up to that level...

if i were to get a REAL job that actually had to do with my schooling it'd probably be working for some medical supplies company, whether it be in R&D/lab/tech shit or marketing/sales. last resort is to go to some law school, like pepperdine or something

Im 18. Will be 19 on Jan. 7th...Anyways, i work at this place called Regis. The company is basically a middle man. Like, we get the product....shelve it...and as salons like Supercuts place orders, we have to load it up and ship it to them as needed. And pack price labels and stuff. We ship ALL OVER. I have been there for about 2 months now. And i work on the shipping docks. And I have seen orders go out everywhere. Puerto Rico, Canada, and all of the States in the US.

Anyways, basically i load trucks...when the order is complete, get on the computer and make sure all of the product hit the shipping dock. Once the truck is set and ready to go, call the trucking company and tell them their truck is ready. Once they get their, give them the paperwork to sign. and continue closing out the rest of the trucks. Its a decent job. I love physical work. So loading trucks is right up my alley. Starts out at 9 bucks an hour, but for every job you learn u get paid an extra 25cent an hour. So i make 9.50hr...Soon to be 10 bucks soon as the process my "knowledge" papers because i recently learned 2 new jobs.

By the way, i put off college for a while to make some money. Im about to take up a few classes soon. My main goal in life isnt to be the richest or what ever. I think too many people "fall in love" with money. I'd rather have a job i love going to everyday and would go to it if i wasnt getting paid to do it. So i want to pursue a career in Personal Training. When i played football, i loved working out and helping others get in shape. So even if i dont be a well known personal trainer that trains actors and such. I could train a bunch of kids and teach them the importance of being healthy and working out. i would be just as happy.
