Really? Odd, subways around here still have $5 footlong on any sandwich except custom orders / double meat / etc. I just had one yesterday.

Yeah, they put it on the daily menu, but there are only a handful of sandwiches on there, and I don't eat any of them.

Anyway, it's all moot, as yesterday I found a deli by work that made me an american, muenster, turkey, and ham sammich on a hero for $5.95, and it was glorious.

that sounds really good!

It was really good.

One thing I love about deli's vs. these chain places (Quiznos, Subway) is that deli's usually load sandwiches FULL of cold cuts, whereas Quiznos and Subway sparingly spread cold cuts on their sandwiches.
