Did they make those back in '92? I thought that they only had a sedan, coupe, and pickup. I myself have a 1992 Toyota Pickup.

Sure they did 4runners in 1992, mine is like it has just came out from the factory, except for the tires and the higher suspension, I know people that have 1986 4runners.

BTW- What mods are you planning to do with the engine? I assume you have the 3.0? I really wish TRD would develop a supercharger like they did for the 3.4. I am about to put 2.25" MagnaFlow exhaust coupled with some Downey headers. I think that's about all you can do performance wise for that engine. Is yours a 5-spd?

Yeah its a 5 sp, I hate automatic transmission, too bad that the all new 2003 4runner its only available with an automatic transmission, but now you have the option of a V8 engine!

No mine´s isnt the 3.0 its the 22R 2.4 liter 4, cylinder, It doesnt have too many ponies but it has a lot of torque, first I was thinking about putting the 2LT or the 3L engine on it (turboDiesels), very useful when you go to the highlands and have to climb hill at more than 12 000 feet!, but I think I´m gonna keep the engine , since I have just repaired it (changed everything, from rings to pistons) and put it a header, the K&N filter with the snorkel, iridium spark plugs, and getting a double shock absorbers front suspension, I´m know more into Off Road, the drag racing car will come later

Maybe you acn search through the web for that supercharger, maybe it wont be a TRD, but try Jackson Racing, or Garret.

Check some sites for "japan only" market cars, they have some things that you will never beleive
