what did you learn today?

I just pissed away a whole day and couple gallons of gas only to learn that face to face marketing means door to door sales and performance based compensation means 100% commission pay.

Yesterday I learned 2 things.

1) Make sure your apartment/home/living quarters, is clean at all times.

2) Make sure your fridge is stocked with a selection of beer at all times.

Some new neighbor babes were walking to the park and said hello to me. They asked if I wanted to chill and have a beer with them. They were probably underage but w/e they were fine in their bikinis. Unfortunately, I drank all my beer and my place was a mess and I was a little busy. Next time tho... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Today I learned UPS shipping for a 1 lb 12 oz item is a damn rip off. I should have hit up the post office but I am lazy.

Very important lesson with the babes and the beer

this is a funny question to ask me.

I learned that average musical power and recording crest factor should be taken into consideration when setting amplifier gains.

I learned that when setting up an AutoCAD .dwg to be referenced into a Revit project that you need to reference it from the view, not the sheet, and that you need style-based plot settings in order for lineweights to transfer properly.

I learned that a school we designed that is in construction has a consistent broadband noise problem from 1kHz-2kHz (octave bands and encompassing 1/3 octave bands) that I suspect is due to air velocity and diffuser NC rating.

I learned that if you use the #1 guide to shave your balls, they will itch immediately, which doesn't happen if you use a #2 guide.

I learned that my neighbor's motorhome combines 5 #1 2 THHN wires using a soldered set-screw coupling, thus combining all receptacles on a single breaker and giving me a good place to add GFCI protection.

I learned if I tighten the nuts holding the casters on a cart that I use to cart around audio test equipment that the casters don't want to turn. I learned that they are shytty casters.

I determined that instead of adding a 60A load center panel and 8awg feeder from a 200A main panel (240V) to service a woodshop and office (in a friend's home) it is cheaper, faster, easier to just run dedicated 20A circuits to the wood shop - and when it comes to current sensing for dust collection control - you can pull the circuits through an older panel enclosure (gutted), remove the Romex jacket (without damaging the actual wire insulation) and install the split-core C.T.'s to control a relay panel.

Lol I understood about 2% of that
