what did i do wrong?? HELP

ok so, i just got finished trying to hook my up zx1500.1 to my two S15l7 (d4) kicker subs and the result was pitiful, i mean they hit...... but.... nothing compared to what they should, i hooked everything up so that both subs run to one terminal and then to amp. i hooked up so it hit amp as a 4ohm load. using this diagram :

so what did i do wrong? is it cause it aint puttin out many watts per sub? and what yall think i tryed to run the subs to 1 ohm...

How did you wire those subs?

Wire all of the + terminals together and all of the - terminals together then connect one + and - terminal together, and run the opposite sides of the connection to the correct terminal on the amp for a 1ohm load.

I'm not sure. But, I believe that the amp is stable to 1ohm.

The Kicker ZX1500.1 is stable at 2 ohms. So i think you would have to run those subs at 4 ohms

well no, i did that in my frds trunk and we cant figure it out. i have a Fi Q 15 w/ bp and i just got finished building a 4cu @ 28Hz and 57 sq in port, and still pondering what amp i should buy.... its a D2 so gonna run it 1ohm

Well, if you're running that 1500.1 at 4ohms, then you're only getting 750w rms to two L7's. That's not near enough to get them movin the way they should.

You need to measure your actual ohm impedence at the amplifier to see how high your box/electrical rise is with the enclosure you have. You might be able to run that amp down to 1ohm and get away with it...

Well then. I guess you will have to wire the + and - terminals together on each sub. And then wire them in series for a 4ohm load.

2 dual 4ohm subs gives u 1 or 4 ohm load and the zx1500.1 does 2ohm

Confused.Me is my frds acc, he was just on, confusing, its his car and kickers, i couldnt talk him out of it, shoulda saved money but hes happy with it so, imma try tomarrow and run it at 1ohm and see what amp does.. keep fingers crossed
