What is the box going into? I personally would do 2 10s, but the 3 8s isnt a terrible idea. I actually would try to squeeze a 15 in there first, but you are dead set on it not fitting so...

it's not going to fit, the box is 3 cubes with no port, or sub, or bracing in it.

If he wants to be loud, tell him to just take out the back seats and build a bigger box. Theres a dude on a different forum that has like 4 15s in a rag top Wrangler. If he wants to shake peoples cars, he better be going bigger than 3 8s lol.

If its a soft top jeep, Id highly recommend doing down-fire.

when your like 20 feet from a car that is cranking, you dont hear pure bass like you do inside the cabin. if someone has their window down and your next to them, all they hear is the rattle of your car and barely any bass...they laugh.

My car doesn't rattle and I hear clean bass from 20ft away in another vehicle. (my SPL is louder than the avg joe but not insane)

you must be doing somethin wrong if ur 20ft from my car & im bumpin you dont just hear it.,.you feel it lol.. you know what it is and your not gonna laugh lol... if ur not very loud and ur car sounds like you got tin cans rollin around ur trunk then ..yea maybeb your right.

LOL it's not juvinille bro its showing off your work. let people admire at how good it sounds. I don't crank it up next to the avg joe. I have mine tuned for sq but I can go spl with just a few buttons and will if I am next to someone with bass. Why not? If they are gay about it i'll turn it back down, but dam lets have some fun with our bass. Yes its better for it to sound good, I have mine sound good all the time, sometimes its just fun to bump idk to each his own.

Do you have a port that you can change out or plug up to change your box tuning?

It takes a tad more than a few buttons to go from "SQ" to "SPL"........
