What can i do?

I have 2 12 inch 08 kicker L7 subs, two kenwood KAC-9104D amps, and 2 Power Akoustick 2 farad caps. My caps still read down to 11.9v when playing a longer bass note. what can I do to bring that number up closer to like... 13.5? I have a 2004 saab with the biggest alternator I can get, and a factory battery, also running a rockford fosgate 4 gauge kit.

Any help is appreciated. Also, whatever will be done has to be able to be done in $100 incriments, that is all i can spare off of my current paychecks.

If you haven't already, consider getting some 1/0g wire and doing The Big Three.

why is that? it helped me a great deal, I was going from 10v when the subs hit, to about 12v. I just need MORE aid in keeping it at 14.4v when the car is running.

I guess you could use 2g wire, but it's just standard to use 1/0. 10-12 ft should be plenty.

Caps are discouraged because their main purpose is to makeup for a lack of power from the alt/battery. Caps act as a secondary battery, in a sense, and need to get energy to be stored. But when your system is lower-end and you start asking even more from it, it can be damaging.

almost right. Get rid of Caps, do big 3, and swapout that batt under the hood with a yellow top or some other group 31 battery.

out of the big 3, wich is the MOST important to do? I dont quite have enough to do it all right now, but have enough money to do about 5 feet worth. I was looking at crutchfield at the 1/0 gauge wires. Is there a different place I may want to order from?

EDIT:

Could I go with dual 4 gauge wires everywhere? Kicker wire is only $3.49 a foot for 4 gauge, making $7 a foot instead of the $9. Would this be dis-recomended?

Knukonceptz has some good wires, it's true gauge wiring so you're not getting skimped out.$3.49 for a foot of 4g is ridiculous.
