I have a good idea... Seal the bottom and make it water proof. Attach a 1 way valve that only lets something into the chamber onto the outside of the tube. Attach a bowl to the end of the valve. Mount a speaker to the top of the tube and play a very low frequency sine wave (like around 2-5hz). After you burn the bowl up, take the speaker out and enjoy your trapped and filtered smoke. An alternative design would keep the speaker mounted and have another one way valve that would lead outside of the tube that you could use as a mouth piece. You can make that valve switchable so that when you're burning the bowl and the sub is moving in and out, nothing is going through the mouth piece. When you want to inhale, just let the sub keep playing and then switch your one way mouthpiece valve on and the sub will force feed the smoke into you.
I made a similar product once using PVC pipes and created a piston like pull valve to extract and expel the air.
