What Brand Of Wires Are Best For Installations?

just dont get brown wires, they supposedly sound like poop. brighter colors will make the sound brighter, and darker colors will make the sound more muddy. so i usually try to get some sort of middle tone to make the sound neutral.

hope that helps.

I have Stinger, Rockford (Lightning is the exact same stuff) and Audiopipe in my system currently. The RF and Stinger wire are easy to wrap around stuff but the individual strands are so fine that it's almost impossible to get them into a terminal without a couple of stray strands sticking out. Also if you're trying to fish wire through a tight spot, it CAN be too limp. That's one of the reasons that I can't understand the idea of paying extra (a lot extra) for more flexible wire. Once it's past a certain degree of flexibility, any more is really counterproductive IMO. I can tell the difference in the two batches of Audiopipe 1/0 that I have. They are different grades, one being kinda stiff and the other being pretty much what I consider perfect. All the Audiopipe stuff I got off eBay for about 1/2 what Stinger wire goes for and a little cheaper than Knu.
