I'd have to take off the door trim and remove the speaker to get the info. However, the crossover is under my car seat. Will this provide the information needed or do I need to pull the speaker?

Thats pretty sweet that you bought a car and you already have a nice front stage in there. Did you get anything else with the car in terms of audio, any amps or are the speakers being powered off a HU?

well no way to tell just from the tweeter since older model ES used a tweeter that looked similar to that one. If you can get to the drivers in the door if its red it could be either the CL,EF, or HD...if its yellow its ES. Sometimes you can tell by the crossover but its easier by the woofer, heck if you take it out of the door it'll say on the back. Most common would be the CL or EF. HD would be nice for you though. Whats powering them also?

The car had an alpine deck and a phoenix gold amp (200 watts i think). All of it was removed before I bought the car though.
