What bitrate do you use?

i can notice a difference between 192 and 312... that said i can tell there IS a difference, but i have no idea exactly what it is...

i use flac lossless. when i say i, i mean, i let others rip them for me then i download legal backups of cd's i already own via torrent sites.

anyone that is downloading music from a p2p like limewire will get mixed results. ripping from a store bought cd yourself and encoding to mp3 will ensure good results. i use 192, but that's only because i do all my mp3's on dvd's. if i was to use cd's, i would use 128 due to space issues. 128 is barely a loss of quality at best from 192.
