I'm throwing a system together in a 2000 Maxima SE. Pioneer AVIC-Z1 head unit, two sets of Phoenix Gold Titanium Comp Elite components, powered off of two Memphis MCA-3004's, and a Memphis Mojo amp to power a sub that I have not picked out yet. I was thinking of an MT18, but they require too much space. I want to only run one driver, preferrably 18", that will run off of the 2400 or so watts I'm going to feed it. I'm hoping for mid 140's atleast for DB, with some SQ.

What are my options? Kicker? RE? DD? Soundstream? MTX? What????

I have two Memphis M3 15's now in my Toyota pickup, but I don't want to run them. I want something new. Something with major excursion. Something that will pound. Something that looks good. I need help.

I was considering picking up a Memphis LVS sub and building a funky enclosure with mirrors, but it's too **** deep.

untill i saw how many wats you're throwing at it i was going to say a rl-p 15, but that would destroy it. how much space is a little for you?

It's going to go in the trunk of my 2000 maxima se, i haven't measured it yet, but i would like to retain some trunk space. I'll try to get a measurement tonight. I could probably get away with 4 cubes or so.

Orion h2s are supposed to perform well in smaller boxes. Realiability is an issue, though.

The Audioque site says their subs do well in smaller boxes, also.

h2's also die really fast in boxes that arent built pretty dam close to spec, and i wouldnt put one in a sealed box anyway

h2 is a terrible speaker. i tossed those out the window a long time ago. i ran one for about a week. too inefficient and not accurate at all once you do give them a lot of power.

the things in red, do not go together

also with that much space im going to reccommend a 15 instead of cramming an 18 in
