I am going to open an bank account this week. Was wondering what banks you guys recommend and which ones are you guys subscribed to? I was thinking Wachovia or some big named bank like that. Suggestions...

I just want to deposit the money into a bank so I don't have to worry about holding the money myself. I would also like to transfer my money from paypal to my bank account and withdraw my money to pay for items through paypal. Is a savings account what I need? I am on the Bank of America website and they have a whole mess of options there.

If I was you, i would look for a bank with high intrest on your money so you get more, check and see if they have alot of atms and see how user-friendly they are.

well you need checking for the paypal thing but savings is a good place to put money. find a good bank and open both kinds. i like us bank cuz at their atms they give out fives instead of twenties so you have a lot more options.

Might look into their hours of business, too.

Around here, Fifth Third is open till like 8 on the weekdays, and till 5 on the weekends. Its pretty convenient.
