What are the easiest SAT subject tests to score well on?

Why would you want to go to IU or Purdue...no jobs after graduation FTL. Plus the class sizes are absolutely huge there. You can be an idiot and get into IU/Purdue, if you did well (I don't know your credentials) why not try somewhere like Notre Dame (lots of football tradition) or maybe Wabash (all guys school, but excellent academics, and buses of girls visit every weekend...plus alcohol is allowed on campus and the cops are not).
Didn't know that about wabash thanks for the info...but yah i'm 3rd in my class of around 150 (iknow small school)....good scores on sat n act guidance said i could go just about anywhere i want to....all my friends are going to one of those so i think i might go there......its still wide open

Wait, wait, wait ,wait...I'm sorry I must not be reading this right...

Your not an *eliteist* but look at the list of schools you banged out for us, and how you belittle the schools that others have choose or are looking into?!?!?!

You just made my original point even stronger... ANYONE looking into those schools isn't turning to caraudio.com for SAT test advice. Little clue on those schools, those kids have their $hit together, they know what they need to do from day one to get accepted at universities of those likes.

No, I am not an elitist. I was simply asking about the SAT II. You don't have to be a prick about it, I was correcting misinformation (He said he could get into any top school, I provided some of the requirements of the top schools). You can't take one subject test and expect the admissions people to ignore their core requirements. He is 3rd in his class and wants to go to IU or Purdue, those are very easy to get into (ie 85% acceptance rate)...I was not belittling him, if you had noticed I provided him with some other options.

I still see no reason why members of this forum wouldn't have taken the SAT IIs. I've been a member of this forum for a while and enjoy varying opinions.

Please add something positive to this thread or leave, I see no benefit for you posting in here...other than flaming

So let's hear some of your prerequisites for even thinking about applying to CalTech, Harvard, MIT and the like?

You're in the top 1% of your class? Good

You did well on the SATs (1450-1600 range)? Good

You're gonna take some SAT II subject tests and probably do well? Good

You're taking the highest level classes your high school offers? Good

You have some extracurriculars, maybe President of a club, captain of a team, involved in church, etc? Good

But so does everyone else that doesn't even consider going to those schools.

You're not an elitist? Well then start looking for some different schools.

Don't believe me? I would go on about myself - I was in your boat last year - Valedictorian (550 graduating class), captain of varsity basketball team for 2 years, President of NHS, 1420 on SATs, 33 points for my International Baccalaureate Diploma, 5 on ap calc, 5 on ap history, and 4 on ap english. Where am I? Clemson University in South Carolina. Good school? Absolutely. Harvard, MIT, CalTech level school? You can answer that one.

My point is that schools like that really don't give two shits about your SAT II test scores unless they **** because everyone who they consider has 750s - 800s in whatever subject they choose.

These kids are ridiculous: http://www.usatoday.com/news/education/2007-05-16-high-school-allstars_N.htm

Once you get to the story, click the link to meet the 20 kids or whatever and it'll tell you about all of them.

Check out these couple, and look at what they've done, where they're going to school, and then look at what you've done.

Not to shit on your college choosing parade, just hoping to point out that the 9% acceptance rate of these schools is for a reason, and if you think that making sure you take the easiest possible SAT II tests will help you that much, you have another thing coming.

By the way, I took Biology, US History, and Math II SAT II Subject Tests. You can, too.

Where is this all coming from? I never claimed to be elitist (and by elitist, I'm referring to a pretentious person). An easy search will get you the requirements for the top schools. I did not start this thread to ask anyones opinion about where to apply or any of that, it was merely to get an opinion of the SAT IIs.

Take the english test, your grammar isn't horrible. Polish your skills, you will be writing 2-3 essays for each of those schools to determine if they will even interview you.
