What are the easiest SAT subject tests to score well on?

I'm in a huge crunch applying for colleges and the like...and just realized that some of the colleges I'm interested in require 3 subject tests (I only signed up for two)

I took Honors chem sophomore year and AP chem junior year (am just now taking AP Biology and AP Physics this year) so the Chemistry exam seemed like a good bet.

I've taken all of the highest math classes my school has had to offer (took PreCalc last year and am currently taking AP Calculus) and I've heard most of the tech oriented schools prefer Math IIC, so that also seemed like a good bet.

Whats a good third subject test? US History?

I've always done very very well in History (A to A+ range), but that probably has more to do with it being a required academic level course (my school doesn't offer Honors/AP level history). How difficult is the US History test?

Also, I'm planning on retaking the SAT again after the SAT II. (My friend got into a terrible car accident and several things were on my mind while taking the test originally) If I knew all of the Math IIC material by heart, would I be guaranteed to know all of the material on the regular SAT math section (ie does the SAT I discuss different concepts besides SAT Math IIC) or would I need to do some more studying?

Truthfully, if you were an honors or AP student in any subject you wouldn't be asking this question on a car audio message forum, or you went to school in Indiana.

Take the english test your grammar isn't horrible.

Why wouldn't I want some advice from you guys? Just because I take upper level classes doesn't mean I'm elite or anything. I figure theres a people on this forum who have taken or are thinking about taking the SAT Subject tests, pretty good place to ask for advice I think.

I only took one subject test.....i can get into what ever college i want too.....being smart ftw
nice try, but no

Caltech requires Math IIC + a science (bio e/m, chem, or physics)

Stanford recommends 3 subject tests

MIT requires Math (I or II) and a science (bio e/m, chem, or physics)

Harvard and Princeton both require three and recommends diversity amongst the subjects

What school do you plan on getting into? The admissions are not fond of arrogance...

Why would you want to go to IU or Purdue...no jobs after graduation FTL. Plus the class sizes are absolutely huge there. You can be an idiot and get into IU/Purdue, if you did well (I don't know your credentials) why not try somewhere like Notre Dame (lots of football tradition) or maybe Wabash (all guys school, but excellent academics, and buses of girls visit every weekend...plus alcohol is allowed on campus and the cops are not).

Wish I could help you but I never took the SAT, just the ACT. The ACT was easy as fawk. I didnt take any prep courses or study at all and scored a 24 on the first try and a 29 on the second try. FYI they take the highest score. I can get into any college I want. Not sure the requirements on the colleges you mentioned but do they accept ACT instead of SAT?

Once again, what colleges are you referencing? I'm pretty sure you need to have REALLY REALLY good scores for any college to admit you. A 29 really isn't that impressive, its only equivalent to about a 1300/1600 for the SAT.

when i took the ACT two years ago i got a 24 or a 25 (cant really remember) but I got 93rd percentile in the nation...

so if 29 isn't good then only about 2 percent of people get into college then?

but big colleges will have pretty massive classes. Especially as a freshmen.

eh, 29 got me enough scholorships to not owe a dime for school. Im referencing state colleges but I was just suggesting that maybe the ACT would be easier. Like I said, I didnt study for a minute so a 29 out of 36 is good enough for me. For higher ranked schools like Harvard, you would need to score a 33-36. Although, some lower tier IVY schools will accept a 29 and above.
