what are the big boys

Autotek has been the brand I've stuck with for quite some time now, and I've been pleased. I own the mm1000.1d, right now not installed because of dual battery setup complications, and an sx777. I've also owned the majority of the super sport series up to 2005 or 06, which ever year had the silver ones.

Anyways, I've been pretty pleased with these amps, in fact I love them. I am almost 100% positive that these are underrated, when tested the mm1000.1 did 1300 fine, didn't heat up, little distortion etc, I don't remember the rest of the readings when tested though...although I do have them written somewhere

Anyways to my point, a lot of people claim that autotek is a good brand, but not up there with the "big boys." I have to ask...I've heard people say the same for fosgates, soundstream, jl, luxman, and several other high end amps, not being "up there."

So my question, what the hell do you guys consider the big boys?

And why.
