The barrel connectors on the end are cheap. They're made out of metal, and the wires are soldered, but the ******* things won't stay screwed together.how come?
X2 no problems but i have heard many people have issues with them. Like i said no problems here i bought mines used to be cautions lamoi like my krystal kables. no complaints here.
First of all, a soldered connector on an RCA cable is the highest quality you can get. Much better than molded. At least with a soldered set they can be repaired. As far as loose is concerned, what the hell are you putting your cables through to have them falling apart on you. If they were loose when you got them and you tightened them they physically shouldn't come loose again unless you loosen them yourself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifThe barrel connectors on the end are cheap. They were loose when I opened the package, and I "tightened" them as much as I could. Went to remove my amplifier a week later, and they were still loose.
whatever their shielding is it works! i had bad noise issues in my install once going active and the problem was resolved by switching my rca's to the krystal kables.I also run Krystal RCA's throughout my car and like them. I understand their shielding is not a true shielding or whatever, but hell they sound good look good and feel good to me. I don't run them near power cables so idk.
I don't have problems with my barrel tips, I actually think they are very nice quality. I love the metal barrels, can't stand those plastic ones.
