Does he uses the Simpsons and other characters in his explanations? He does in this book. It is good but the switching from simple to complex makes it confusing at times without a good quantum mechanics background.

But yeah...The Fabric of the Universe is on my list of to-reads
absolutly EXELENT books. if anyone read the lord of the rings or eragon, those books are way better.
and if anyone is into tom clancy and that kind of crap, give clive cussler a try. he wrote a whole series of books based on a modern "indiana jones" style action hero named dirk pitt.
