What are some good books to read?

Man when I start reading a book, I literally can't stop.
I usually finish em in one sitting.
Wow, I couldnt do that even if I tried. Dont you get a headache or something? I mean my head would probably roll off my shoulders if I read that much. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Ha no.

I read pretty fast, but Its like a drug or something. Once I start can't stop.

My recent purchases;
A Brief History of Time - Stephen Hawkins

The Elegant Universe - Brian Greene

The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins

Nothing in This Book Is True.... - Bob Frissell

(haven't read the last book yet)

I'm a n00b to teh reading, as I don't think I'd ever actually finished a book up until a few months ago when I got the above books (needed something to read on lunch at work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )

Perhaps you should try The Fabric of the Universe...

Does he uses the Simpsons and other characters in his explanations? He does in this book. It is good but the switching from simple to complex makes it confusing at times without a good quantum mechanics background.

Freakonomics - Freeman or something like that
The World is Flat - Can't remember the guy who wrote it
I have both

Freakonomics -- Levitt and Dubner (levitt is the much more informative one)

World is Flat- Thomas Friedman. After reading this, how you see the world will change. I see the rise of the individual everyday. I highly reccomend this book.

i read a book today.. There are no Shortcuts, and now i have to do a stupid fukkin book review on it (8-10p).

It was a real heart warming tale about teh super teacher @ a shitty school in Los Angeles.

After reading this 'pull yourself up by the boot straps and achieve excellence instead of mediocrity' book i reflected on the fact that i choose the book because it was short.
