Hey, I Try.
Not really. They are compression drivers with Very high sensitivity. They only emanate sound in one direction rather than omni. This changes polar response and a variety of other things. You also mount them as far back as possible so your stage depth is improved considerably. Im no expert on the matter but horns are a whole nother beast than just speakers.

i have a 10in midbass, a horn midrange and a horn tweeter in my front doors they are loud but very hard to fit and eq.

Techinally a horn is a acoustic transformer.. I love horns for subs but as for as midrange and highend they are tricky..
