I want to run 4 re re 8's and i am planning on using a four channel amp. Hifonics has one that is supposed to run 170 watts rms x4 at 2 ohms, a titan 6406. Would this be a good enough choice, keep in mind i am cheap and will probably use ebay.

well i dont really have a lot of experience in audio, my first system was a 600 watt profile amp and two 300 watt audio bahn subs, which satisfied me fine. I've had friends who have had hifonics amps, i like the looks and from what i have seen they are reliable. I dont have a lot of preference, outside of not spendin too much

4 dual 4s, you could wire them to... 2 ohms each and get a 4 chan, or wire them all together to 2 ohms, you'll need around 700 watts
