What amp to get???

So after being an annoying pain in the sub section, I decided to get 4 15" RE SX's. Thank god that part is over. Now for part 2. What would be a good amp to push these 4 subs. Should I stay within the company and get a US Amps amp or something else?? Thanks for any input. Unlike the subsection, this should be the online thread I put here, for those of u who yelled at me on the sub forum...lol.

Probably best to look into a pair of amplifiers.

Two 2500 rms ones.

I'd recommend a pair of Kicker 2500.1's (2500rms @2ohms)

Perfect match for each pair of SX's.

How much did the 4 Sx's cost you?

I got all 4 for 1500 at my local dealer, but he gives a 1 yr warranty on his subs. If he does the install, and you dont really screw with it big time, he will switch it out for free. Nice guy. Been with RE even when they almost went bankrupt before US Amps took them.

I am sure I could have probably gotten something else for about the same price, but this guy loves RE and preaches them. Heard the 18's (MT or something, not to sure) and was impressed.

Also, is your electrical system up to par, to support 5000 watts rms?

Yeah, my electrical system is good. I got a new alternator already. I have a friend that is giving me two batteries to use. All I really have to do now is upgrade some wiring. I guess all in all, those two subs are still cheaper than something like the RF 4000.1 And cheaper if one messes up in the long run.

I guess it is the kickers, no one else has any other ideas apparently.
