what amp to get for a punch p1?

im wanting to upgrade from a factory setup in my 95 z71 silverado and im wanting to get a punch p1 and im not sure what amp to get. i want to get a punch p1 and eventually upgrade the front and rear speakers replaced. would a jensen 600 watt amp be good enough for the sub? im not sure what model it is but my dad will give it to me if i get a p1, and could i run the 4 speakers off of it or can i run it off of the HU? the HU ill be using is a jvc kd-r520, 20rms x4.

if its a new p1 something with 250 rms the old one 200......personally look at the p200.2s and bridge it should be more than enough power, and the new ones are fairly efficant.

lol, the 1k would use the p1 as a tooth pick after eating bigger subs.... but really, what size pi is it.... that makes a difference.... and the hu is usually fine for running the 4 speakers off of, and you do not want to run them all off a single channel amp. another option is to get a 5, or 6 channel amp, where you can run everything, and they usually fall in the 4x50-75wrms + 300watt range, which works out nicely, but i doubt you will find the need to go all amped. i rarely have ever needed to run more than a hu for the mids. first, get the specs on the sub, they all rate differently.

a good bit more lol. im not looking for the loudest system ever, just a good sounding system without having to break the bank
