What amp to buy? Profile CL600?

I need to buy an amp for my sub (an audiobahn 12). I was thinking of getting a Profile CL600(450w bridged) because most people here seem to think they are a good value for $100.

Do you guys think this is a good idea or should I look to spend some more money? Before I read this board I was thinking of an Alpine T420? I could spend some more money (up to $300 or so) if it would be worth it.

I want a 2ch amp so I have flexibility to use it for something else down the road. I'd like to try and keep the footprint on the small side too.

So what should I get?

Nothing wrong with the profile, but since you have a little money to spend you might to consider something that is known to be a little better quality such as this or maybe something like this (my personal favorite).
