Hey guys.
I have an 02 tacoma with Alpine speakers (4). I'm not sure if they're Type S's or Type R's, im going to take my panel off tomorrow and find out.
They were given to me by a generous man that was selling an old dodge dakota for about $1,500s, told me I could take the speakers out and have them put in my truck, along with a nice Alpine deck with ipod hookup.
The SQ is very nice, I got to playing with the settings in the deck and found what works best with what, and I noticed I can get my speakers to pump LOUD volumes, but with a sacrafice in SQ because of the reduced bass.
So, I decided im getting a sub and an amplifier.
The subwoofer im getting is an Alpine Type-R to go with my otheh Alpine goodies.
I decided I want to power my speakers up with the amp to go better with the LOUD bass coming from the sub. I cant really afford two amps, so I was checking out this

I was wondering if this would be a good setup for what I want, as my budget is only $300.
Kinda long post but just want to get my moneys worth. You guys are good at makin that happen from reading around, so any advice is appreciated!
