That directed is a good amp, resale is only about $100-$130shipped though

any clue as to what is wrong with that directed? make no mistake, do not assume the same guts as the origional 1100d before it. i haven't checked, but the 1200d that replaced it is a "dirty" amp, with honest power, but the one before it is my fav. and one of the baddest amps, imo. i'm not 100% on which circuitry it uses. get a look at the side pannels and connectors of that ample...... it may possibly be either a good, or cheapie.....looks to be an off-brand make of other known amps. gut-shots would be best, but idk if the guy will open it up for pics

idk bro. it's cheap enough though. but it's at least a 30min drive one way...

Ample audio is a good brand and are built well but I wouldn't pay more than $30~40 for a broken one.

Directed amp is decent, they're made by the same company that builds Orion, Viper and Precision Power. Tell them $80 for the Directed IF it works good.
