yea my zx1500 was screwed up from the start right out of the box never had too low voltage and couldnt even get up to 1500rms only could get up to like 46volts and need 54 i recall to get 1500 at 2ohms and then it started smoking its at kicker right now thinking bout selling it and getting something different
idk might just been a bad amp but not sure

how power hungry are these amps compared to others say orion and sundown and such

I got a atomic 3000.1 right after a kx2500.1 running the atomic 3000.1 at .5 ohms 4000wrms, was alot better on my electrical system than the kx2500.1 and alot more power, and thats the same amp as the sundown 3000.1
