What Amp for my 12" Championship Pro 3500W Sub

Lmao @ the replies. I am sticking with this sub, seen and heard lots of good things about it and I only paid 140 brand new.

Okay so I should be looking for a mono 1000w amp? It is dual 2 ohm voice coil for 1 or 4 ohm

i had the older version of this sub, ts3002spl. they weren't the best subs but, they aren't total crap either. i had 2 subs and hooked each one up to (2) 2000w pioneer prs5000spl. and that was good for a 146 at the dash when they were in the trunk of a cutlass at 5000ft of elevation. although im pretty sure the subs were the weak link. but any 1000 to 1500 rms will do just fine. as long as u stick to good brands. oh and get a custom box.

C'mon now broseph? A 146 at the dash (from the trunk no less) with those Pioneers? I think I'd have to see a video of that.....

And OP any amp that does around 1000 rms @ 1 ohm is good. MB Quart and Hifonics are just a couple good budget amps that come to mind. If you go Hifonics stay away from the HFI series. Go with the BRZ models.

That's a **** good budget sub. The people telling you to get rid of it, has prolly never used one or seen it for themselves. I ran a d4 on a Kicker zx1500.1 for about a year and never had any problems. I'm upgrading to 4 on 2 saz3500. As far as amps go, check out Sundown, Rockford, Hifonics, Mmats, etc... Depending on the budget, I'd go with rf t1500bd or Sundown. If the budget doesn't allow either, go with Hifonics, older models, around 05-08ish.

sorry no vids of 146. but it wasnt just a prefab sitting in the trunk. i cut all the metal out from behind the seats. faced the box forward. glassed it all in and had a 10 inch flared port. and it wasnt with music. i had interchangable ports one for music and one for spl. and lots of sound proofing

and i still think $140 is a good price for the sub and its pretty good sub none the less
