I would take a JL amplifier over an RF any day, but both will run them fine.

x2, plus the resale value on a jl 1000/1 is great.

x3 on that. they only need 300 watts to sound great. the 1000/1 should match them nicely.

They can take a lot more than 300watts... i would go with the RF because it can produce more power than the JL at 1ohm...

but if you want to keep it all JL its fine.

both amps will do the job.

I didnt say they couldnt take more than 300 watts i was just saying that they sound great with only 300 going to each from first hand experience. I pushed them with 600 each in a ported box and they took it well.
