What amp do I need?

I am looking into a rockford BD1500 or bd 1000... With that said I was wondering if there are any good amps that compare to these. AMP must be 2 ohm stable, (I dont want 1 ohm stable because of the wiring situation which will be (dual 4 ohm coils) 2 rockford punch (not power) hx2 12's, and I might change that to 3 or 4, hence the 2ohm goal here) I have a rockford 9220 head unit with 5 volt pre outs and I want to keep distortion very low. Any suggestions?

the 1001bd is a nice amp. mine puts out 1100 watts rms at 2 ohms and it runs very cool and doesn't have a big drain on my electrical system like other amps i've had. i had my 1001 pushing 2 hx2 12's but since they were dual 4 ohms i could run them in series and that amp still pushed them pretty good
