what amp (2 12" type x's)

DON"T FLAME ME!!!!!!!!!!

i did a lot of searching and apparently I'm not very proficient at it. I'm looking to buy 2 alpine type x subs and i need to know what amp to buy. Currently i have 2 type r 12's with 2 600w vpower amps pushing them. i know i can't get away with just using those so what should i get? Here are the specs from alpines website... (hopefully this is the right info)

• Peak Power Handling: 3000 Watts

• RMS Power Handling: 1000 Watts

• Power Range: 500 - 1000 Watts

I'm pretty sure these will be going in a sealed box.

Also, if anyone is in the socal/fullerton area and wants to help me build a box i have a whole fridge full of beer!

no box... its from egay... they want 450 plus like 85 for shipping... but i'm working the guy for local pickup. they are like 5 mins down the road
