Hey guys.. as u can see I'm new here and the reason that I registered is that the last two weeks I have been working on my car's system.
Its a Honda Civic '92 Sedan 4-door. I plan on getting another one by the end of the year but I couldn't wait until then to have a decent volume on my musics..
The system is pretty much the cheapest I could get as money is what I don't have to spend...
But here it goes..
The HU is a Durabrand cd-player that I got from Walmart... That's right.. paid 40 bucks on it.. has the AUX input and its cheap.. fell in love for it.. \//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
My front speakers are Jensen Powerplus 525.
My rear speakers are also Jensen, but I got it from a friend so I have no idea what model it is.. Its not installed yet, btw..
The speakers' amp, even though probably unnecessary, is a Pioneer GM-6200F.. Got it Open Box from Circuit City..
The sub is a Dual BP-1204 powered by an Insignia NS-A2000..
All I can say about the sub is that it is almost dropping my car to the ground..
How can I fix it to my car? I can hear it moving around on some curves..
Yes.. saved pretty much on everything...
So, what am I missing? What else should I buy to make this sound great?
Couple questions about the installation..
I need 12v for the lights on the sub.. can I use the remote's wire?
Since I have two amps, both need the remote (of course).. to not run another cable all the way to the front and stuff, I'm running both amps on this 16-gauge wire.. Is that OK? probably not..
any suggestions.. please let me know...
