Yea I hear you. I actually thought it tasted good at one point. I'm a fan of mixed fruity drinks though not gonna lie but they at least have to be able to get the job done.

What is the budget? My favorite thing to do is to get cheap handles of 3 liquors, and a couple cases of cheap beer. My suggestion:

(1) handle of McCormick's Vodka

(1) handle of Jose Cuervo

(1) handle of Captain Morgan's

(2) cases of Coors Light

We brought twice as much for our last Spring Break for 4 of us, and stayed good and wasted all week, and we had a little left over. The good thing about the booze is that when mixed with anything, it tastes fine. Once you get to the beach buy a couple two liters of Coke, a couple bottles of Cuervo 'rita mix, and a couple cartons of orange juice.

If you split the total cost of ~$100 between a few people, everyone will spend ~$20 and stay drunk.
